The 7th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Thursday 20th April 1820 over the Ditch Mile, was Rowena (7/4 fav), a chestnut filly by Haphazard out of Prudence, owned by the 4th Duke of Grafton. A field of 6 runners contested the race which was worth 2100 Guineas (Equivalent to £178,200 in 2017)
